Who We Are
Emily Pye
Expressive Arts and Neurodivergent Coach (M.Sc. Early Intervention)
Emily has worked in educational and clinical settings to support neurodivergent people for 15 years. She began her career in the United States as an Early Interventionist who worked with children and their families to navigate the challenges that come with early childhood neurodivergent diagnosis. Having moved to Berlin in 2018, Emily saw a need for similar support for children and their families here and opened Berlin Early Education Services to support neurodivergent families in English. After many years with a focus on neurodivergent children, Emily saw that many late-diagnosed adults were experiencing similar struggles and realised that there is little to no support given to them. Therefore, she trained in Expressive Art Therapy and has developed therapeutic models to support late diagnosed adults to understand themselves fully and help them build healthy coping mechanism. Emily is the founder of Apiary Coaching. Emily is a proud late diagnosed AuDHDer and her work focuses on empowerment, self-worth, and teaching clients to work with their brain, not against it.
Blair Rampling
Personal Coach
I (he/him) am a personal coach living in Berlin, Germany. I'm neurodivergent (autistic), genderqueer (AMAB) and queer, and polyamorous. Originally from Canada, I had a long career in the tech industry before finding my passion in coaching other people to help them grow and thrive in their own lives.
Since childhood, I have been through the process of diagnosis and healing in many different ways. I have experienced Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Talk Therapy, radical personal coaching, and many other therapeutic modalities. I’ve worked with other professionals as both client and student and bring a variety of therapeutic philosophies into my coaching practice to help others avoid the challenges I faced going through the process myself. Person-centered therapy, Coherence therapy, and Radical Therapy are just a few of the tools I draw on to provide a syncretic coaching practice to my clients.

What We Do
Neurodivergent Coaching with Expressive Arts
Neurodivergent coaching use arts and creativity as a focus point for developing a greater understanding of self and build resources. We specialize in working with those who are late-diagnosed, self-diagnosed, or questioning to help them learn more about their neurodivergent traits and support them with the unmasking process. Coaching can be one to one where we are able to deep dive into individual needs or in groups where we can collaborate and build community and support systems. Expressive arts coaching is held in person at our office in Steglitz. More information about Expressive Arts here.
Personal Coaching
Personal coaching uses a combination of therapeutic models to help clients gain insights into personal challenges and to build healthy coping skills. Coaching creates a safe and supportive space for clients to express themselves honestly and allows them to process their thoughts and feelings without fear of judgement or expectations. Coaching takes place in person at our office in Steglitz or online.
Neurodivergent Child and Family Coaching
Child and family coaching focuses on supporting neurodivergent children to better understand themselves and build practical skills in ways that prioritize self-worth, self-confidence, and self-advocacy. Children are met where they are at and we work with their personal strengths and challenges not against them. We also help families to learn and understand more about their child and help them to build routines, communication systems, and environments that help everyone in the family to feel positively.
Workshops and Events
We hold regular workshops for small groups spotlighting different topics. Workshops are a great entry point for those that are curious about our services and want to get a feel for how we work and who we are. We also do specialized private workshops for groups and businesses. Please contact us to know more.
In addition to one off workshops, we also have regular events for those that are looking to build community and get to know like minded individuals. We regularly hold facilitated discussions, social events, and group classes.

What is Expressive Arts Therapy?
Expressive arts therapy is a creativity focused approach to counseling and psychotherapy that integrates various art disciplines, such as writing, clay, movement, music, painting, story telling, or play, to assist individuals in self-expression and self-discovery. It integrates the creative process with psychology to achieve healing by using the arts to discover and express feelings in a safe, non-judgmental setting. This therapeutic process facilitates the innate desire to create, in an effort to foster emotional release, self-understanding, and the tools for change. Expressive art therapy is client centered, meaning that the client’s challenges, experiences, and goals dictate how sessions evolve and their interests guide what art modality we use. Expressive arts is for everyone, regardless of skill or background of art making. The process of the art making is where we grow and learn about ourselves, rather than the product that is created.
What is Neurodivergence?
Neurodivergence is an umbrella term given to a range of diagnosable conditions. Different institutions and professionals have very different definitions of what constitutes a neurodivergence. Our definition is anyone who feels that they process information and engage with the world in a unique way.
We also believe in self diagnosis and are also open to those that are wondering if they are neurodivergent and would like to know more.
What is Neurodivergent Coaching?
Neurodivergent Coaching is a personalized form of support that focuses on the individual client and their specific strengths and challenges. Clients work with a coach to develop a better understanding of what their neurodivergence is, how to cope with the challenges it brings, and how to build a stronger sense of self in order to thrive in life.
We begin by building a strong understanding of the client’s personal neurodivergent profile and how their day to day life might be affected. We look at sensory needs, executive functioning skills, communication style, and emotional regulation. We then focus on how to build routines and structures in life in that align with their goals that are appropriate and affirming. Clients are given practical, easy to implement strategies that they can use immediately.
What is Neurodivergent Child and Family Coaching?
Neurodivergent Child and Family Coaching is a personalized style of coaching for families with one or more neurodivergent members. Coaching can be one on one with neurodivergent children, parent coaching, family coaching, or a combination of all three.
One-on-one child coaching is individually tailored to each child and their specific strengths and challenges. We use a combination of methods including, expressive arts, child-led play therapy, and teaching them about neurodivergent processing and coping skills. We focus our work on building the child’s self-worth, self-esteem, and self-advocacy skills. We want to ensure children feel empowered by their strengths and fully aware of their challenges so that they are able to get their needs met in all environments. We work with children from 2-18 years old.
Parent coaching focuses on helping parents of neurodivergent children and/or neurodivergent parents with the challenges that they face in their day to day lives. We help parents better understand the needs of themselves and their children and develop strategies to support everyone’s individual needs. We help develop appropriate sensory environments, measured expectations of one another, and build communication systems so that all members of the family can be understood and have their feelings heard. Parent coaching can be for individual parents or jointly for parents and parental figures.
Family coaching includes all members of the family and focuses on building healthy attachment, communication, boundaries, and understanding amongst all members of the family. Family coaching can be play-based, arts-based, or talk-based depending of the ages and needs of the individuals. Family coaching sessions are generally combined with individual child and/or parent coaching so that the family session can focus on the activities and engaging with one another and separately the coach and individual family members can address specific, targeted needs.
